Limestone Plateaus
The central elevated plains where Dragon Blood Trees are most concentrated. Formed over millennia from ancient seabed, the pale rock creates a stark alien backdrop for one of the world's most unusual tree canopies. 4x4 required for most routes; the reward is some of the island's most photogenic terrain.

Moderate year-round (15 to 30 km/h). Plateau edges are exposed — tripod weight matters. Best calm windows: Dec to Feb early morning.
Sunrise / sunset horizons
Cliff-edge horizons over the coast are spectacular at sunrise. Homhil infinity pool composition looks east; Dixam plateau edge looks west.
