How it works

Create a free account
Sign up with your email and fill in your photographer profile — name, bio, and links.

Submit a photo
Upload a photo and tag it to a place, species, or category (drone, night sky, landscape, etc.). Add a caption and metadata.

We review and publish
Our team reviews every submission. Approved photos appear in the gallery and on relevant place and species pages with full credit.
Submission guidelines
- Original photos only — no AI-generated images
- Minimum 2000px on the longest edge, shot in good light
- Must be taken on Socotra island
- We accept RAW-processed JPEGs, WebP, and PNG — all are auto-converted to WebP
- By submitting you grant socotra.guide a non-exclusive licence to display the photo with your credit
